Expert Witness Work

I have appeared in court several times to present expert witness statements concerning the use of offender tagging equipment, in particular "false breaches". This is where the tagging equipment signals that the offender is out of the curfew area, when he/she was actually at home.

Several cases have required site visits, to search for "dead zones" in and around homes. This involves the use of a small signal source to replicate the tag and a space diversity receiver to monitor signal strengths.

My company also acted in a dispute resolution where an antenna farm had been placed on the roof of a building.
